Principal Offshore Wind Consultant
Location: London

| SALARY: Up to £65K |
|
This role offers unique exposure to the Wind Industry sector and requires the management of a number of complex and large-scale offshore wind consulting projects delivery by co-ordinating co-funding partners, contractors and internal teams. You will be expected to operate amongst the leading players in the Wind Industry, co-ordinating high-level Industry steering committee meetings and detailed technical working groups, driving forwards key points emerging from them on behalf of partner groups.
You will bring Industry gravitas, significant commercial, engineering and project management experience, including confidence with exposure to senior management, at an engineering, manufacturing or technology related business, or a high-end engineering consultancy. Market experience of utility-scale wind energy, including offshore projects, and wider experience of the energy sector, energy efficiency and low carbon technologies is essential.

| Opportunity to join an established consultancy specialising in energy management and more broadly, engineering and design services. A unique aspect to the business is their ability to offer a service from advisory all the way through to design and implementation.
As an Associate Director you will be responsible for providing leadership from a commercial, technical and managerial perspective. A qualified engineer, you will have a track record in the provision of energy and carbon management in a consultancy setting and be willing to travel. Background across areas such as biomass, CHP, EUETS, CRC, energy audits, carbon labelling, carbon footprinting, carbon management and energy engagement workshops would be of interest. |
