Be specific about your expectations.  It can take several months to secure a new position and some early investment of time in identifying what companies you’d like to work for, in what capacity, where, and why, will help target our search for you. Questions like......
- Are you interested in the Public Sector?
- Would you be happy working within the Oil & Gas sector?
- Would you like to work for an Ethical company?

Be realistic about the market for your skills.  The emphasis has shifted from what an employer can offer you, to what you can offer an employer. Contracting may offer an employer more flexibility than a permanent hire.

Include don’t Exclude.  There are some well-established ‘big names’ in this Industry but most people work for small companies. Don’t overlook these potential employers or organisations about which you don’t already have firsthand knowledge.

Be prepared to sell yourself.  Be clear about your professional successes. Your CV might get you to interview, but telling your story is what will get you the job. Prepare well for interview and take full advantage of this opportunity to impress.

The successful individual will provide technical advice in the following areas; Ecological and bio-diversity appraisal,  CHP feasibility studies, Renewable technology integration studies, Contaminated and Brownfield land assessment ,Built environment simulation, including natural ventilation feasibility studies and Low energy design advice.
Director of Building Services Location: Oxfordshire
