Foreword
Recent reports of Scottish & Southern Energy - Clyde Windfarm Project Award (the biggest onshore windfarm in Europe), plus the JRC’s support for the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (which drives towards 2020 targets) have both helped steady the nerves of investors.
Allen & York are receiving great demand from PE houses, banks and other investment groups who are seeking to strengthen their technical and commercial understanding of the market opportunities.
In the Built Environment space, there is a particularly strong demand for Display Energy Certificates to meet an October deadline and with so few reportedly trained/qualified individuals to provide these, the demand for suitably qualified Energy Assessors is high.
This is indicative of a continuing need for low carbon, sustainability and renewables skills applied to the built environment in general.
Allen & York’s Energy team is continuing to expand, and in addition to your applications for; Sustainability, Energy Management & Assessment and Renewable & Conventional Power positions, we would also welcome applications from those of you who might like to utilise your market knowledge and networks in the recruitment industry!
We look forward to hearing from you
