Maintenance Project Manager (Outage)
Allen & York Middle East have been charged to recruit a Maintenance Project Manager (Outage) to join a World leading Power company to be based within their O&M branch in Oman. Position is in resident status, family package if preferred and offer exceptional career opportunities. Package is attractive. Starting date ASAP.
Reporting to the Head of Fleet Maintenance, the Maintenance Project Manager will mobilize and manage his team of Maintenance Technicians and Specialists to perform emergency or warranty works within the whole country of Oman. He can be required to perform emergency missions in the whole Middle East region.
The job is challenging and very interesting technically. The mandatory points for candidates to be considered are:
- Knowledge and experience of maintenance of gas turbine power plant, notably on Siemens V94.2
- Experience in Outage management
- Flexibility, ability to be available 24/7 for long time missions as well as emergency and short notice interventions in Oman, GCC countries and overseas
The main responsibilities and duties of the role are:
To reviews O&M Manuals and new OEM recommendations, to establish maintenance procedures;
To creates the overall maintenance schedule and follow-up application. To determines and schedule the manpower requirements for each maintenance activity. To organizes overhauls work, staffing, specialist personnel, parts & tooling requirements;
To supervises, directs and coordinates the execution of planned maintenance. To ensures proper organization of site activities in order to meet quality and guaranteed duration target;
To prepares maintenance reports including appropriate recommendations;
To ensures that SEI’s EHS Policies are implemented in the company and promotes a safe working environment;
To be responsible for all minor and major inspections for the serviced units, for all emergency repairs and LTSA warranties clearance, for the technical and commercial application of the existing contracts;
To be the single point of contact for all contractors, clients and other collaborators during a specific project;
Requirements:
Candidates should hold a degree in related field (mechanical, power engineering or similar) and have a minimum of 15 years experience in the maintenance of power plants. An excellent knowledge of gas turbines and particularly of Siemens V94.2 is mandatory.
As a managerial position, communication and leadership skills are strongly valued.
As mentioned, candidates should have experience in outage management and be ready for mobilization 24/7 in case of ermergency.
