Senior Environmental Consultant

Allen & York are currently searching for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join one of the leading global multidisciplinary consultancies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the growth of management and delivery of EIA and due diligence work in the UK and overseas.
The position includes undertaking project management for large EIAs and leading EIA/ESIA reviews; business development; assist with the development of new products and supporting junior members of the team.
This position is based in London and would suit an experienced individual, from a professional consultancy, with extensive demonstrable skills in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), particularly within the energy sector. Within this, you must have experience in at least two of the following:
- International master planning
- Social impact assessment or cost/benefit analysis
- International environmental mitigation of projects;
- EIA lead for investment (e.g. World Bank, ADB)
- International due diligence.
Knowledge of relevant UK and/or International laws, policies and legislations are also important
Knowledge of the energy sector and previous experience is highly desirable as is chartered status or IEMA membership.
Relevant qualifications (BSc or BA/Sociology degree if focused on social impact assessment) are essential and a relevant MSc is highly desirable. The areas will preferably be within EIA or Environmental Economics with a focus on environmental sciences or geography.
You must also be prepared to travel nationally and internationally
