Allen & York seek a Consultant Chemist for one of our large multidisciplinary clients.
The main purpose of this position is to fulfill fire science & chemical management contracts throughout the UK
The selected individual will be familiar with existing chemical management services and risk assessment, managing sales campaigns, conducting chemical management consultancy & surveys and writing scientific reports.
You will also be expected to participate in out of hours work rotas - providing scientific support to clients at night and weekends associated with scientific support contracts.
You will have a chemical based science degree and have existing knowledge & capability regarding the classification of chemicals and the characteristics & properties of hazardous materials.
Experience and knowledge of the use and application of chemical databases and MSDS management systems & software is essential alongside experience of dangerous goods transportation regulations and protocols.
