Senior Water Engineer
Location: South Wales
Salary: £40k-£45k

Opportunity for a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join an established Water Team in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Water Team specialises in providing high level advice to mainly private sector clients on planning and design issues relating to flooding issues, as well as the detailed design of flood protection, SUDS, water recycling and sewerage.
Requirements
Applicants will be at or approaching CEng, MICE or CIWEM status and / or have post graduate experience in river modelling, hydrological analysis and drainage design.
You should be fully conversant with the operation of ISIS, HEC-RAS InfoWorks CS/RS/ICM, TUFLOW and WINDES or similar software packages and have a sound knowledge of FEH and WINFAP-FEH.
Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be an advantage
- Flood Risk Assessments
- Design of sewers using WINDES (or similar software packages)
- Drainage adoption procedures
- SUDS design
- PDS and AutoCAD
