The company we represent has a successful history of partnering with its quality clients to deliver environmental solutions across a range of sectors such as infrastructure, resources, government and property. They now seek to appoint an environmental professional with experience in contaminated land site assessment and remediation projects.
This role will suit an environmental professional seeking a step up in their career by moving into a true Principal level role. You will have the opportunity to apply your technical skills and experience on varied and exciting major projects as well as lead a team of environmental personnel. To be considered it is essential that you have experience undertaking contaminated site audits, working with and advising teams of engineering and technical experts and have an understanding of the consulting environment. As this role will be based in Perth, knowledge and a practical understanding of WA DEC contaminated sites management series, (or VIC or NSW equivalent) is desirable.
To be successful you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Environmental), Science (Chemistry) or similar
- Experience in staff management and/or supervision
- Demonstrated experience in contaminated land assessment and/or auditing
- Demonstrated experience in preparation and execution of technical work plans
- The ability to work across multiple team and project priorities
- A track record of successful contract, financial and decision making
- An understanding and commitment to HSE and quality
