An internationally renowned organisation is currently seeking to expand the Bid Team and recruit an additional Bid Manager for a position based in Yorkshire.
Job responsibilities:
-Ensure that bids meet client requirements with respect to the project objectives, goals and drivers, and also to achieve
successful result for the company.
-Plan and manage resources to ensure completion of submissions, in accordance with QMS, programme and budget limits.
-Co-ordinate inputs from stakeholders to identify all risks within the bid process, with the formulation of commercial and technical risk allocation and mitigation strategies.
-Manage the documentation for submissions in accordance with the tender requirements and in line with the company's design and pricing policy.
-Assist Senior Managers in the nomination and selection of suitable JV partners for bids. Then ensure that appropriate resources and support are available for projects.
-Ensuring that all successful bids can be built to the required technical standards that meet customer requirements and at the submitted cost.
-Provide leadership, guidance, expertise and co-ordination to the bid team, ensuring the delivery of successful bids.
Candidate requirements:
-Is able to act with a minimum of planning and work to tight deadlines
-Dedicated to meet expectations of both internal and external customers
-Can recognise and mitigate risk
-Resource planning experience
-Waste, Energy from Waste, Water or Waste Water Treatment background
-Degree or equivalent in a technical / engineering discipline
