Environmental Manager - Ghana

Our client is searching for an experienced Environmental Manager to be based in Ghana. This is an outstanding opportunity to take an influential role in a project of significant global renown.
 
The main purpose of this role is to provide advice and lead on the development of environmental policies systems and procedures in support of full field development as well as production operations. You will also be required to advise on onshore support facilities.
 
You will have a BSc degree in Environmental Science or related field as well as demonstrable field experience in an environmental related area preferably oil & gas.
 
Having experience in the following is also essential to this position:
- International Codes of Practice
- Waste Management practices/disposals
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
- Environmental Legislation
- Oil Spill Contingency Systems
- Environmental & Social Impact Assessments / Environmental Management Plans
- Experience of working with partners, NGO's, international banks
- Experience of working on climate change projects
