Safety Consultants
Location: UK

Our client is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Safety Consultants to utilise their technical leadership skills to make a contribution to a number of safety projects.
You will provide project management and technical contributions in the development of major defence, aerospace, rail and nuclear projects undertaken by the safety team.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the following:
- Defence Standard 00-56
- MoD POSMS
- JSP 430,454,520,375,815, 553 and 518
- Yellow book
Having experience in the following
- Safety Management System Development and Safety Management planning
- Safety Case Development
- Independent Safety Audit
- HAZOP/SWIFT
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)/Event Tree Analysis (ETA)
- Failure Modes and Effects (Criticality) Analysis (FMECA)
- Goal Structuring Notation (GSN)
A good, relevant degree is essential alongside experience of leading and directing safety consultancy projects and tenders.
Previous experience of working in a consultancy environment (within the defence/nuclear/rail or energy sectors) is highly desirable.
