Environmental Noise Consultant
Based in the North West of England
Starting Salary up to £30,000 + Benefits
Qualifications required:
- PG Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control
- BSc (or equivalent) in relevant discipline
- Suitable level of experience in environmental noise consultancy
- Associate membership of IoA (minimum)
Prime responsibilities:
- Project management of environmental acoustic projects covering areas such as industrial noise, environmental noise impact assessment, construction noise and vibration, occupational noise and vibration, etc.;
- Client maintenance;
- Consultations with regulatory authorities & other stakeholders as appropriate;
- Business development
- Data analysis and manipulation;
- Technical support to other groups;
- Site visits and investigations;
- Undertake relevant research, where appropriate.
Core competencies:
- Good interpersonal and skills;
- Good IT software skills
- Knowledge of Cadna preferred;
- Self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision and under pressure;
- Good administration, planning and organisational skills;
- Good ability to prioritise workloads;
- Keen to develop business development and management skills.
